Gymnasts are the coolest of all athletes as they can do all the coolest crazy shit. Male dancers ain't got shit on male gymnasts, as they have no upper body. Totally different league. And, personally I prefer rhythmic gymnasts over ballerinas, when it comes to athletics and the visually pleasing part of the sport.

Rhythmic gymnastics. As I understand, they do not want more sports where judges decide the placings. Calisthenics (ie.street workout) is basically gymnastics. "American Ninja Warrior" style obstacle course might be a good Olympic sport. But, the original Olympic sport pankration (Mixed Martial Arts) is not yet in the Olympics. We definitely could drop a few sports...mostly some cycling and a few that have to do with playing ball...

There's a brand called gaynor minden which creats more "hightech-ish" shoes. But dancing on the tip of your toes will never be completly painfree

GM is not a high tech shoe. It's simply a cheat shoe. Pointe shoes are supposed to hurt, they are hard. Gaynor Minden's prevent dancers from showing off the arch and from strengthening their feet. No reputable company allows their dancers to train or perform in them. Freed, the brand Lauren is wearing here, is actually the most high tech shoe currently being made.

Lauren gives excellent advice. Watch this video over and over again. Take notes. For those who have injured their foot, take the time to recover and please, please don’t rush back into the studio which the expectation of picking up where you left off. I recommend physical therapy for recovery, to build strength and gain flexibility. My warm up was half an hour to an hour before classes, rehearsals and performances. Dance injuries are more common than injuries in any sport.

Jasmine Namjoon yes most of your professionals will in no way have normal feet they don't fit into the conformity of beauty. Many have been dancing since a child so the feet form differently. Then as training advances the feet change even more. I don't find them ugly (I was around ballet younger so it wasn't a big deal) but they are not going to be foot models.

Candace Lin a lacrosse ball is too harsh for muscle rolling. A tennis ball has an adequate amount of give in it to allow it to form to the shape of the muscle, gently relaxing them, instead of forcibly adjusting them
