loving the wands! One thing I would say ... use an anti static bag thingy (forgot the name!) or a dryer sheet inside the ornament ball to make it less static. Oh my goodness I have to make these!

Wow awesome! Thank you for a really good tutorial. I was thinking... You could also use a wooden skewer or tiny dowel inside the straw.

Thank you. I am sure you could use dowels or skewers but when I insert the straw, it is really tight and will not slide out. It is a lot stronger with just the straw in it! HUGS ~ Michelle

Michelle, Great job...I love this. We have 2 great-granddaughters, Sophie who is 4 & Skarlett who is 3. They both love girly things & I KNOW they will love this, so I am going to make 2 of them & bring them when I go down to see them for Halloween. Mary, I got the ballerina from Etsy and it is a cupcake topper. I got the shaved ice from Hobby Lobby in the scrapbooking section a long time ago. If you look in the Christmas department of any store, they should have it in a bag. I think people use it to decorate their Christmas villages. Hope that helps! Happy Shopping ~ Michelle
