In the class which this trailer is advertising, Olga teaches an intermediate to advanced level Ballet Class consisting of Barre, Centre Practice and extensive Allegro Combinations to two young members of Oslo’s Norwegian National Ballet.
Olga is a legendary Ballet Master who has worked with the world’s top companies over many years teaching company ballet class and coaching the companies’ top stars in their repertoire rehearsals primarily as a Principal Guest Teacher. She is one of the most in demand and well respected teachers in the global ballet scene and we at BalletClass are honoured to present her teaching on our platform.
Olga has created an intermediate to advanced level class which begins with a steady barre to warm up and focus on placement and progresses to more complicated exercises in the centre and culminates in an extensive allegro section including grand allegro.
Olga’s class is beautifully performed by two of Norwegian National Ballet’s up and coming young dancers- Anna Sheleg who is from Russia and trained at the Princess Grace Academy in Monte Carlo, and Joakim Visnes who is from Norway and trained at the Norwegian National Ballet Academy.
In this class, we have filmed the barre exercises from behind the dancers so that if you are taking the class yourself, you can follow along as if standing behind Anna and Joakim.
