It could be that Joffrey wants to sort of advertise in competitions, like show off their dancers and what they can do in the hopes that people apply to the school? Even so, if they win any competitions, it's just another accolade to add to the school's name.

In my life of watching ballet, I never once thought anything about the lifts except that the boys must be very strong. Now I find that the lifts MUST be done a certain way, and in a certain time frame, and whether or not the boy is feeling strong or not, it must be done just so. Hard work. Very hard work.

When I was a kid I dreamed about being a ballerina. It was such a magical thing to me. So watching this now that I’m older makes me realize that I’m actually lucky LOL it’s a lot harder than it looked back then. But I believe had I been given the chance early enough I would have gone for it

These girls look taller than 5 ft 5 so they must be difficult to lift their legs look strong but muscle weighs more. I guess I'm more use to the classical ballerina.and girls with bigger chests don't look as elegant.
