This vlog is both heartwarming and charming! Thank you very much for taking the time to record your holiday, to edit the video, and to share it with us! These memories will come in handy to boost your spirits, to help you relax, and to stir your imagination whenever you want them to! All of your wardrobe is so lightweight and pretty! Your sandals look very comfortable and sturdy enough to go for walks, which is fantastic! What brand are they? Fabulous that you were able to watch the Olympics! My favorites are gymnastics, swimming, track and field, women's football (for the men, it's a U23 tournament that nobody takes very seriously) and any random thing that happens to be going on like the new sport "breaking" or climbing, kite flying and "artistic swimming." Although I follow tennis throughout the year, I don't pay that much attention to Olympic tennis, because there are so many players who skip it as nobody receives points or monetary prizes for participating like they do in all the other tournaments. (The points are used to calculate, and hopefully to improve, their ranking.) However, playing for one's country gives it a deeper meaning, which some athletes thankfully find very important. Hi Andy! Hi Iga! You should be very proud of yourself for not only making every effort to relax, but also to keep up your fitness and flexibility ... and dancing! I'm so glad you got to enjoy family time! Barcelona looks absolutely stunning, and I'm gonna have to find some travel or history documentaries to see more! Those puppies were absolutely adorable! 🐶 Wishing you and your family the very best!! 🙏❤️😎🌴🌊🐬

@@dronesclubhighjinks thank you for these thoughts! I definitely agree about Olympic tennis! That’s why it was so good this year! All the best players showed up when they usually don’t. I think because Novak placed a lot of importance on the event it made the rest of the field do the same. It does show how whoever is at the top can effect all the way down the ranks. I guess that applies to any walk of life. It’s an interesting concept 🙌🏻

@@HannahMartinRG to prove your point about people at the top setting the tone: a few days ago, I read that one of the Pliskova sisters wrote on social media that the tour is so much different now than it used to be. She specifically mentions Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams, and how they would not speak to the others. And that it was the usual thing for people to not speak in the locker rooms. She added that Caroline Wozniacki was always friendly. But now, it’s a lot more relaxed and friendly! She didn’t specify names, but the comments suggest that Iga and Aryna Sabalenka are apparently leading by example. If you search “tennis reddit Pliskova” you can see it for yourself! 🙏😎🧡

10:15 It was 30 degrees at that point? It's boiling? That's only 86 Fahrenheit, which is an average summer day here in the Midwestern U.S., unless there's a lot of humidity. But then 35 a few days later is pretty hot (95 F). Anyway, I'm wondering, since you have quite fair skin, how much sunscreen did you use while you were on vacation? How much SPF do you use? When you feel tired, do you think that you need a holiday from your holiday? That buffet spread looked huge. What was your favorite from that? What was the name of the resort? Can you provide a link?

@@ericvansickle4305 hehe, yes, I’m British so have little tolerance for heat 😂 we so rarely get sun in England. I started with SPF 50 and then went down to 20 after a few days as my skin adjusted. I think sometimes I felt like I just wanted a few days where it wasn’t so hot. So not necessarily a holiday from holiday, but I wouldn’t have minded having a few days where I could go for longer walks in the middle of the day without feeling like passing out 😂 My favourite was probably the fresh pancakes and omelettes made right in front of you at breakfast! They were honestly so delicious! The hotel was called Golden Port Salou hotel, I think we got it as a package deal with a holiday service called TUI. Hope that helps x

Those temperatures are extremely draining and can make you sick, especially if you’re not used to them. I don’t know how you stayed out in the sun without a hat! You’ve got to provide your own shade sometimes. 😊

@@ovalandovoid yes! It was an adjustment! I often dipped in and out of the sun. The gym was air conditioned so sometimes I went in there just to get out of the heat!

@@HannahMartinRG I love the cold!!! That’s why I love Europe, especially eastern part and of course England, Ireland, Scotland… those are my happy places. When I visit my parents in Brasil I have to do it in the winter down there. I’m a very unusual representation of that part of the family and being so fair I cover myself with sunscreen 🧴 I’d recommend the Japanese and Korean ones for you!
