this is actually super helpful for learning the dance! I often find myself marking with my hands like this when learning choreo, I love how seriously they took it and really aligned their movement and head positions, made it all the more entertaining! 😂

What an intelligent idea! And dancers perform it brilliantly
@nicoletti345 Жыл бұрын
Honestly this is so clever!! I understand how it can be funny, but it’s also a great way to still do the choreography without putting young dancers through the physical pain of the routine or if the quad isn’t ready for that difficult of choreography yet. But this is still very complicated and requires precision and synchronization. I also like how from afar, it looks like they’re little swans with the fluff on the collar and the little arm legs!
@sherrylabtec2 ай бұрын
This is done by trained ballet dancers...I was watching not just the arms but when they finish the position of their legs....and they were wonderful...

+sanja sanja Actually it's called Pas de Quatre (Danse des cygnets) -- Danse des cygnets means Dance of the Little Swans, so both titles are correct!
@Sarahw__8 жыл бұрын
In translation it means "little swans" or "four little swans"
@mojojojoplus28 жыл бұрын
And if you just say pas de quatre people would assume you meant THE Pas de Quatre by Perrot or the famous 1941 restaging by Anton Dolin. Ha, next level know it alling... sorry. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pas_de_Quatre

Seriously? I am a ballet dancer and I think this is wonderful. This is never going to take the place of actual ballet, you aren't going to lose out on a job to this. It's a fun act for a variety line up.
@10101Blues3 жыл бұрын
Aislinn Brienne I did a year of ballet and it was too technical and hard so I quit, ballet is a really hard style that doesn’t get enough credit.This dance in the video is just a parody it’s putting a twist on the classic dance, besides this dance in this video is harder then it looks, definitely not as hard as the original dance, I have so much respect for ballet and the original little swans dance is one of my favourite ballet dances. Try and be able to have some humour in stuff you like, like I love videos that mock anime and stuff which I love. There’s also a great dance from China, it’s the four little swans dance but with a twist it’s called four little frogs, it’s an Arco version with the original music, that’s a very good dance but I’d always prefer the original four little swans dance
@frozenicestar72937 жыл бұрын
Dang y'know this is a lot harder than it looks.... That's a lotta talent there!!
