PJ, Oubre, McDaniels, Nick Richards, and DSJ are free agents after this season. So the team should be a whole lot better if they make the right signings. If Hornets can trade Hayward & Rozier now for better pieces than the future may be bright but if the Hornets want to tank until Melo contract expire in 2024 then so be it. Hopefully Melo can play on a better team in near future.

Its ok for the team to be bad this year. The Miles Bridges thing threw everything off. This is a bridge year for them. Now they should be able to get another high draft pick to pair with Melo and they will probably bring Miles back for next season.
