When my husband and I were in Italy, we took the train from Rome to Venice. I absolutely loved seeing the countryside as well. One little exciting part of our adventure was a two hour delay because there had been a fire on the tracks between Rome and Venice. No one was hurt, thankfully, but we did have to creep along for a bit and then sat on the tracks for a while. Somehow though, the fact that we were in Italy doing so made it just a little more romantic and less annoying. We also got to speak with other people in our car because that's what people do when an unusual event occurs. I have so, so enjoyed watching every minute of your European adventure with your amazing children. Thank you.

This series was so much fun to watch! My husband and I took a similar trip earlier in the summer (4 weeks: London, Amsterdam, Ireland), so it was interesting to see this sort of trip done with kids, because that will be our next adventure! xo
