I want to root for him, but not sure if I can with 'tude like that. It's very off-putting; hard to watch. Staring down a defender after a layup? C'mon. He needs to watch more video of Kawhi and try to emulate him a little bit more on the court. Emotion isn't always a bad thing, but constant emotion is exhausting and a bit embarrassing. Can't wait to see what kind of man this kid turns into especially with so many bright lights shining down on him at such a young age. Sure hope he's got the right people in his corner and is able to avoid the usual pitfalls of young stardom because this dude is special (especially if he puts some effort into his defense and team building skills)! Dang. There's a lot of really poor/lazy defense being played by the big dawg in this game! He's still really fun to watch, but I have a feeling he'll end up being the type of player most people hate rather than a player most people can't wait to cheer for. He has power over that and can certainly change that image because he's still so darn young; I sure hope he's got some GOOD people in his corner who won't leach off of him and only tell him what he wants to hear rather than what he needs to hear. He could be special! I would love to be his manager because I know I'd be able to instill value coupled with decency in him. If he ends up earning $250 million over the course of the next decade or two then I'm nearly positive that I'd be able to double that as his manager (or someone like me). I want this kid to succeed and I sure hope he's intelligent enough to get rid of certain types of people from his entourage while adding other certain types. Youthful mistakes in the image industry can cost a guy tens of millions of dollars...or worse (than money)!

Emoni is clearly gifted as an offensive weapon. His defense is terrible, seems like he doesn't try at all. Lots of pass offs on pick and rolls where he just gives up and he has no attention to boxing out on the boards. He let a mediocre dude with a little more muscle bully him for four quarters on one end. I'm sure some of that will be solved with weight traing, diet, and possibly a secondary growth spurt... But, there's no way he can play like that on a higher level. His teammates lock in defensively and he seems to have the mentality that he's going to let them do the dirty work and he'll just score. That works in high school... It doesn't work on college and the pros. He's too good and too athletically gifted to be getting the low number of shot blocks he gets per game and low number of steals. This isn't the first time it's happened either. Anyone a little bigger than him and he's shown a reluctant game on the defensive end. He'll get it figured out, though. His drive to get better seems to be present.

watch 100 KZbin clips, zero left. If he ever puts ball in left it goes back to right after 2 left dribbles max. He's so long guards can't get to him yet so he hides it. Only thing he uses left for is offensive push off, which is never called. Find me a left handed finish on 100s of clips, you won't find one. Only hustle is when he's gonna dunk. Kids 4 inches shorter than him dominate in paint. He has skills and can shoot, but majority of it is from his height. Guards can't get a hand in his face on deep 3. Without the height, he's an above average shooter, not much else really. Zero defense. But when he plays with bigs and I mean bigs that are 4-5 inches shorter than him in the paint, they dominate him, rebounding, dunking etc. And worst of all is the attitude. I'm impressed he's a freshman and doing very well. There are 6th graders with better left hands, and better attitudes. He's got time to work on left, attitude and defense otherwise, he'll look just like this as a Senior. He'll be a star in the MAC.
