The only time you're able to lift the pivot is to follow through for a pass or shot. At least that's how the rule I read is written. Julian really has improved though.. just way too small and one dimensional. Only has a jumper and that hard drive into a fall back he misses 90% of the time. His defense improved though and quitting it with the unnecessary spam dribbling

Is it legal to lift your pivot foot before you release the ball from your hand when in motion to start dribbling? If not, you should replay this video in 0.5 playback and watch both players starts from the pivot foot. Seems like they're both traveling repeatedly. IMO
