ShootHoopsTV The thing I hate about saying that is.... Muscle does not provide skill. Of course having it gives advantages. But the weight he is at now is pretty good for the game he plays. He doesn't really post up to much. He takes it to the hole or does a jumper. He's more KD-esk. But will see. Amazing talent. Hope there's no injury's.

Blaz Mihaljevic He needs to put on weight because he's not KD or close to it. All of the skill in the world can't make up for lack of strength. People don't understand how important strength is in basketball. Most of the guys who become great players become great because their bodies are strong enough to respond to the mental commands given. He won't be able to live on the perimeter like KD does because he's not as skilled, so his strength will have to increase to be able to bang down on the box

Yeah it's wrong to compare a 18 year old boy to a grown ass man. But I believe for the height this kid has and the way he plays. Let's just say wow. I mean, I don't know how long you have been following Thon Maker. But I could say its been about 3 years for me now. If you looked at how he looked back then to how he looks now he has made plenty of improvements. And the best players to play can argue and support that you can be as strong as you want. But its the fundamentals of the game that you have to master.
