I always love highschool rivalries. I’d watch this Over an NBA “rivalry” any day

Ahmad Henderson played lights out in their rematch tonight. That kid hit clutch shot after clutch shot.

I would say Simeon and Morgan park because those games different level of intensity in those small gyms

This isn’t a small gym?

I played for Rice years back and it’s a really small gym. We also didn’t have air conditioning so teams weren’t used to playing in a sauna. Was definitely an advantage.

Brother Rice must’ve gotten tired of having the best student section in America. They’re not nearly as good as they were in the 90s and 2000s

administration shuts down everything

@@sawmehl7550 I'd love to hear more about that. Not saying you're wrong.

Combination of enrollment being down from 1200 to about 800, administrations coming down students for being too vulgar/aggressive toward opposing teams, just more things for kids just not showing up as much. Still a good student section but it’ll never be what it was in the 90/early 2000s. They used to almost fill the whole bottom bleachers, but it’s hard to replicate that atmosphere from that era. It was insane some nights

Lol a catholic league matchup will never be the best rivalry in Chicago high school basketball…their best players will be at WY Simeon or Kenwood by senior year
