What's happening with Qualatex, Amscan, and the Balloon Industry?

There has been a lot happening in the industry at the moment.
This is my take, and hopefully it will help you understand the situation better.

Covid and Cost of living has really impacted a lot of people livelihood. Such a shame about Qualatex.🤦🏿‍♀️

"Things can only get Better!" a song sung in the 90s Greg by a group called D'Ream xxxxx ( Tony blair had it his election song in 97) ... TI also think ( and only my humble opinion) that Qualatex's great products will continue , but maybe with the anagram name branding, but understand the panic buying on 24" bubbles xxx

Qualatex quality for me is number 1. I also like sempertex and have used kalisan mirror gold.

Hi, Kitty. BMTV will continue as normal, so don't worry about us! It does mean that you might see a few familiar faces fall away from our content, and that going forward, you'll see some different ones start appearing. We're certainly not going anywhere 😊

I was wondering why so many Q balloons are being discontinued, and annoyed. Balloons like the q24 and now the donut balloons are gone when I'm pretty sure those balloons are al time favorites of decorators and especially us looners.... iv been trying to find more donut balloons for months now since I found out they were discontinued, I already gave up on the q24. If anyone knows where I can get some geo donuts id love to know.

CBA was a Qualatex run program so that is probably gone, unfortunately. Maybe someone else will come up with something if there is the demand out there?!

Qualatex has always been my 1st choice.I'm sorry people are losing their jobs. Can anyone advise a substitute for the bubble balloons please?

@@soniathomason-jones7698 you could try Clearz they don't have the same life when filled with helium but they have more weight bearing load I have used both

Deco Bubbles are made by Emily's, a joint venture between Q and Takara Kosan (TK), they're also sold by TK as T-Balloon.

Pioneer and Qualatex was sunk by its owen incompetedent and low edcuated managers and directors who had ne minimum job related education. People of bla bla bla.....but no knowledge and no education. I hope Anagram kick them out one by one after they implemented high quality financial/technical audits.
