The energy,the joy,the individual creativity and total letting loose is over the top! I love them ALL and for personal reasons I'm sitting here watching this at 62,wishing SO much that I could have shared these videos with my late husband..he passed in 2017 and we were married for nearly 40 years..I just know how very much he would have loved this incredible experience also! And I can mention many more situations like this because as I mentioned I personally have about 25 years of insight in the SCENE and have witnessed with my own eyes the SHADE that goes on. There was no reason why those Asian Kidz deserved the CHOP other than what I had mentioned above and FAVORITISM.

I’m a white trans man and although I understand that the ballroom community was built by the black and Latino lgbtq community, and that ballrooms are their special place, I still feel a bit bummed that I could never compete or dance there. I did see a white guy cut in line at the beginning of the video. Was that a no-no because he is white? I mean, I’m sure a white queer person could never win a competition because the judges have the power, but always wonder. I love my LGBTQ community and usually feel a part of it, but there are still areas within that, because of its history, I feel like I should tread lightly.
