Wiltshire produces some of the best stuff out there to me, I don’t understand why anyone would watch JR, Shiels, Finch etc instead-unless you like the same steady diet of worthless club reviews and contrived BS from players who aren’t actually trying to accomplish anything with their games.

The KZbin space is completely saturated. Everyone is pretty much doing the same thing. The only KZbin golf stuff I still watch are equipment reviews.

I don't think he's really back, he's just making " taking the piss" videos. Just satirising the big youtubers. It's not big, clever or most importantly funny. Shame really, he was really different, this is just sad.

I remember he went to that golf show and met mark crossfield. His vlogs with his mate who was a pro were great and funny. Golf vlogs usa disappeared

He was never the same after that meeting. After taking the piss and slagging off crassfield (rightly so), when he met him he was like a giiggly 10 year old meeting Harry Styles! Lost what little credibility he had after that.

I used to like rmw when he did his podcast, it was just a ramble about whatever but it was quite listenable. It kind of feels like hes always wanted to be the next george gankas but without doing any of the work. When he got involved with the bald fella with the wobble board he lasted about 6 weeks before he disappeared.

The KZbin Golf bubble is bursting with Marketers And PR Management productions. Views and subs down across the board. The channels that find a way back to being themselves will be more sustainable and easier to film in the future. Constantly trying to come up with sketches and gimmicks to get people watching must be exhausting. Be good to see RMW just stand behind what he believes. And then run with that. No need to hate on others just send out your own message in your own way. If that's what you believe then run with it. As you say the short skit stuff is aweful Just look at something I find unwatchable like St Andre

@@TopblokeGolf lots of channels sign their revenue to agencies. Who pay them back a percentage in return for brand deals and promotion. I guess it's like a record deal in a way. I would think that is the sort of deal Bob Does Sports is on. Especially looking at the dubious views. Not heard of MOSH. Gets a lot of hate SunnyV2 aswell not sure why. Ultimately the snake oil KZbin Advice channels have a lot to answer for too. Selling a pipe dream when they have no clue what works like any other industry.

In the end though. Target audience for massive views on KZbin is 8 year old boys. If you want to make content that appeals to them you will win. Just weird crap winning right now. KZbin's over promotion of safe advertiser friendly content has killed the motivation in lots of KZbin creators who didn't go after the kids.

Random comment about him. … My wife enjoyed seconds of his videos back in the day just to see his face and smile. She thinks he’s quite attractive and has $ex appeal to women … her female friends agreed… she says the likes of Finch, Shiels, and Crossfield certainly don’t have any appeal to women in that category. Her number 1 is Shrek…. Joking. I don’t care much for Robin Matthew. His new stuff seems forced like he’s trying hard to be funny. But you know, there’s that saying “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” So if RMW can take away views and subscribers from Crossy, Shiels, Finch, or Shrek then I’m all for it. My point in quoting that is I don’t like any of these KZbin golfers… I think they’re all greedy at the core who are just trying to make money, and don’t really care about people like you and I who are interested in the game of golf …they’re interested in making money off of GOLF.. I’ll tell you who I think is genuine - there’s this fellow who is a member at my golf club here in Texas and he’s a former pro …he saw me struggling with my swing and he came up to me on the range and he says “hey let me just give you a few tips and pointers” and him and I had about a 30 minute chat and he helped me with some things about my head moving during my swing… He wasn’t getting paid any money and he had no ulterior motive’s. He just wanted to help me out …and I think that’s the problem with these GOLF KZbinrs they’re all just selfish and want to gain subscribers, views, and ultimately money. Remember, when Crosfield rolled out the “Journey” lessons - he was charging obscene amounts for lessons, and he was going to track peoples progress… bull crap. He doesn’t give a crap about those people that signed up for that he doesn’t care about how their golf game is progressing.

I think golf KZbin has gone really stale. Majority of instructional videos are bland and contradictory. Golf life with Jimmy Bullard is the only one worth watching

​@@TopblokeGolf If you compare Dan to Alex Elliott or James Robinson it really comes down to daily content. AE and JR have hardly missed a day posting something in the last 1,000 days. Quality over Quantity will be the kick back but when KZbin is the boss in the niche of thousands KZbin wants Active,Active,Active. Some crack it and can do 1 video a week like Danny Maude but they are few and far between.

Another channel popped up with Dan and Lester going a podcast type content. He's hardly big enough on the main channel to warrant side channels. Even Coach Locky has more subs...
