US here. Small break from work, and now I have tears rolling down. I only know them from the clips, but i feel them. No doubt from their amazing acting, especially Max. I would like to go back and watch the episodes properly. I love their journey. I hate when shows do this, I want to know what's next for these two with these actors.

I thought so, too. My guess is that if Ben gets a long stretch he will divorce Callum, who will be devastated, but one day a gay policeman will turn up at Walford police station and he will be free to love again. If Ben gets a short sentence, then I expect Callum will have to get used to Harry Reid. I am sure Tony will be as convincing with him as he has been throughout this story. A new partner (God help him!) will get the treatment "Ben" in Emmerdale got, from the fans ,and be treated with total disrespect by the fans. They even killed off Emmerdale Ben to please Aaron fan's by that maniac OTT woman "Meena"

@NualaCurley-d1u i am sick of people thinking just because you're gay you can be with any other gay person. Just like every man will not want to be with every woman. I don't see Callum getting with him for one reason he used to work in that bar where his family lived. Next, I believe Callum will be written. Off or they recast Ben. Every so many years, they recast Ben. They just need time to make it look somewhat reasonable, that his father could get him out.

And this is why I stop watching storylines when the couples are at their high point. It's been a little over a year since I've seen Bellum and curiosity got the best of me... Now I regret searching. I'm gonna erase this from my memory like I did with Aaron and Robert (they lived happily ever after... after their 2nd wedding).

I havent watched the show or their scenes entirely, but I feel like this shouldve happened, instead of Callum saying he will wait for Ben. I feel like Callum shouldve gone off and tried to be with another, to try and be happy and have a "normal" relationship, and then he just realizes he doesn't want anyone else but Ben, and then Ben comes back and they grow a good friendship so he can show Callum that hes changed and developed, and that his internalized self hatred has calmed even just a bit to the point where he feels like if he improves himself and becomes the person he is, he can be worthy of a good and proper love. And then after a time they both realize that they dont want anyone else but each other, and bam. I know this might be a little far fetched for a soap opra, but I just feel like you can dramatize this but also give both of them room to grow, and for Callum to really shine besides dealing with Ben's issues, and instead of hating Ben sometimes, it just turns to absolute love for the better person Ben has become

The same thing he's done for the last couple of years in scenes without Ben. Maybe Jack will get him involved with them finding Keanu's body. Doubtful, but maybe. They might bring him in to offer advice to another character who has a storyline or when they need a cop in the square.
