Ballympics: The Most Unnecessarily Complex Olympic Event! - Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday

Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are doing 3 Olympic events involving tossing and catching balls! First, we must toss a ball as close as we can to the wall without touching it. Whoever wins 3 rounds wins the event. Next is the high bar toss and catch challenge. You must toss a ball over a high bar, and catch it on the other side. Whoever can get the most catches in a row wins! Next is the obstacle course. You must toss your ball through an obstacle course, but you can't move your vehicle while holding the ball. Whoever does the best after all 3 events wins the Olympics!

Day 1 of suggesting scrap do the Mad Max race. On either team, 1 player drives while 1 shoots the opposing team. You can decide how you want to split or combine the building, but I recommend the teams’ mates build together to figure out how the turret should attach and the overall design of the vehicle.

This was a good challenge. I really like the having to do multiple challenges with one creation ideal. You guys have built so many things in the past that I think it is time to step it up and do more like this. Maybe a 30min timer to get some better builds. GOOD JOB Moonbo

While not a actual challenge suggestion, but perhaps on the last Monday of each month, is doing a Mega Challenge that would involve bigger and more complexed builds that would at least require 30 minutes of build time (or shorter separate build times to add or rebuild). While I am uncertain of what these mega builds would be as they could be something like making workable pod racers that a 15 min time limit wouldn't be enough.

Scrapman! I have a Multiplayer Monday suggestion! Build a vehicle that carries a 10x10 SOLID cube of tier 3 concrete, and race! These are the build limitations: You can use only ONE level 3 engine You can have up to 10 wheels (large or small) The cube CAN be carried on a separate trailer (behind the vehicle) No thrusters, no glitches, no mods! Size limits are 16 blocks wide, but you can be up to 64 blocks long. For the race track, just make sure that there are not too many places where you could bottom out.

Next week multi-player Monday, race to the finish, but you have to build your car as you go, along the course have piles of scrap that you have to wield to your car at ever checkpoint. Each time makes your car clunky and heavy. Who ever finishes wins! Everyone starts off with the very basic, 3 to 4 tires a seat and a engine. Each checkpoint you can upgrade your car to pistons, springs, more tires, engines etc... but it has to be wielded on.

Multiplayer Monday Idea: *The Worst Car Challenge* A series of round robin style races where everyone drives every car once. The worse your car is, the better your chances of beating it. But make it too bad, and you risk throwing the race when you have to drive it against everyone else's Worst Cars.

2v2 race, you have to build vehicles to throw your teammates vehicle over a distance and that vehicle has to in turn drag the thrower over to it to repeat the process. Reccommendation: use rope mod if there is one

In the spirit if international games, instead of a simple caber toss (Scottish sport), you have a TNT toss. Similar concept to today's challenge, but you each have fixed positions on the field, and you simply yeet explosives at each other. Winner is the person to survive 3 rounds and still be able to yeet an explosive. In the event that nobody can yeet at the end of a round, you have another one.

What about a completely different challenge: you don't build vehicles at the start and have to run to the finish BUT you allowed to use ANYTHING to get advantage from dragging a wall in front of other players to even making a small car (but creations you make cannot be taken on lift) that will take some time but give you a huge advantage if other players didn't build a wall of explosives! I think it would be a refreshing experience Week 9
