Ballyogan wood to Carrickmines Luas journey

Due to low density the Luas extension in 2010 avoided Foxrock and went via Ballyogan this required elevating the line from Sandyford to Glencairn this needed two bridges over the M50 and merging with the old Harcourt line near Glenamuck road where a new bridge was built , the old station building survives along with the water tower and a Telgraph pole !
