This most certainly isn't my style (Balmain rarely ever is), but the craftsmanship and detail is incredible here. Its easy to dismiss a brand because it caters to a certain market, but if you could afford this I'm sure most of you would be clamoring for a beaded leather jacket, oversized studded bag, thigh high boot or scrappy party dress. Rousteing may not reinvent the wheel every season, but nobody expects him to. He sells garments to the people who in turn sell his brand. How many times have you seen a young socialite in Balmain over the past couple years? He's EVERYWHERE.

LOVE the direction Balmain is heading it's fresh, youthful and edgy. I love the designs make women look strong. LOVE it! Can't wait to add some of these pieces to my collection.

i like this collection, some details are just amazing ! i like the soundtrack, especially at the end with Sia voice :) i'm just disappointed to see again Gigi and Kendall opening and closing the show.. I mean I don't hate them at all but I think they just don't have the best walks (Kendall still don't know what to do with her hands and gigi's walk isn't really great either) and they don't really deserve it, some girls have more exprience.. but it was still great to me ! bravo Olivier !!

I don't know much about high fashion, or even fashion in general. I've been told I have a "unique" style, and it's not always a complement. But I do know a few things about sewing and making clothes, have done all my life. I stumbled upon Balmain by accident. Yet watching his shows I can't help but be inspired by the attention to detail, the creativity, the showmanship, and the skill that's on display. I know art when I see it, and this is nothing less than walking art. I only wish I had the money (and the figure) for it.

It seems like the designers are confused which models they have to choose. The 90s-wave or the 00s-wave or the 10s wave or the instagram-wave? All them do it differently: Versace, Dries Van Noten, Dolce and Gabbana, Balmain, Prada. There is no direction right now.

Balmain today is edgy...rocky...and definitely not quiet...it's fashion for the pop gods and goddesses of today.No expense is spared with their fabrics.. embellishments and the shapes and cuts are always creative.If it's not for u..it's not for u...but these garments ooze celebrity...Well done to the Balmain team.
