I remember on my first trip to Paris (which had been my dream forever) back in 2015 the first thing I did was visiting the Balmain store, and I got to see a whole different version of this obvs and the pieces were incredible, like pieces of art I got to see a dress that Kim Kardashian wore on some awards and it was heavy AF and with so much details, it was something I have never ever seen before, so I said. Ok. This is Paris. And this, is couture. AMAZING

And if you’re afraid of the infamous Balmain shoulder pads, there’s also a jacket that exists without shoulders - And the jacket with shoulder pads, Julien will be wearing next season ( poor guy)- 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 For that, i subscribed !

I may use the term "shallow" too harshly but when a woman in ur chanel vid, came to the show and was confused with the rooftops and u mentioned "these are the rooftops, viewed from Chanel's atelier" and she didnt even know, made me think sometimes people just care fashion as another expensive commodity and that's it, and that irked me to the point of using "shallow". But seeing u do these amazing detailed and with such in-depth knowledge, showed me hope for the fashion world, as it is Not just another expensive commodity like paintings ☺️

Usually I don't like his collections that much, but I really enjoyed this one. The plastic designed dressed recalled a little bit some Missoni design and the bags a bit of Versace medusas bags with metals...but that's fashion, everything influencing everything. Loved the colors and pleated fabrics. But for such cuts and designs you have to be very lean and not too curvy or shapey (not too much boobs or butt) because everything is meant to be floating. It really does work well on mannequins or slender tall people. PS: Kris Jenner and her girls have all the same voice, the tone, that annoying cadence...even in this.....looks like they are mass produced LOL
