I lived in KHI during 90s. They asked for autonomy too but that was for recognition and opportunities. The province of sindh accounts for 27% of the population of Pakistan and it accounts for the 65% of Pakistan's economy (mostly out of KHI). That is not fair. Balochistan accounts for 11% of Pakistani population and only accounts for 3% of the economy. But as urdu speaking people asked for autonomy, so are Balochis. This does not mean being anti-state. I find this interesting - I am half Sindhi and Balochi - Born and raised in Karachi - Both my grandfathers died in Quetta and as much as i am a hosh posh of everything, i am still a Pakistani. I love my nation which doesn't belong to one person or one ethnicity. It is union of provinces and union of minds for the muslims of the region. People here talked about history, well 63 yrs ago Pakistan did not exist but years and years ago many countries didn't.

btw - i love how all the indians come here and comment - they use fake aliases suggesting they maybe Pakistani or Balochis. I know many die hard Balochis who would shed their last ounce of blood for their nation. We fight amongst each other but be warned that when it comes for valor, there is nobody as strong as us and there is nobody in Pakistan as strong and brave like Balochis.

Every country has people from different race, but that doesn't mean we cannot co-exist together. Unity is Strength have you ever heard that. Pakistan is going through a very hard time and this is because of people like "U." We need to work on what we have a beautiful land called PAKISTAN and by the way is BALOCHISTAN more important to you than ur own religion (ISLAM). ORAKZAIA you talk like Pakistan has deprived you from every thing.. man every country has problems but that doesn't mean that we go against our own nation. Pakistan is a N-P and our every step should put PAK in a forward direction rather backwards. Remember PAK is BALOCHISTAN, PUNJAB, NWFP, SIND, KASHMIR..We Pakistanies should learn to settle our differences so we can make PAKISTAN more strong and an invincible nation.
