Great Video Todd, very in depth and detailed, looking forward to the durability review in the future. Congrats on the 5k Subs too. Well deserved.

nice looking lights, I was interested in the solis from arb as they integrate to the Lynx so less switches, not sure if these do? I do think the brightness control was a game changer, but that and spot to spread is even better!

Thanks mate, yeah ARB has a patch harness and software update to integrate the Bushranger VLI lights into the LINX system. However this only applies to the VLI lights, not the new VBP and VCT variants. Being able to change not only the light intensity but also the pattern is bloody amazing! I played with it for ages, before driving off to find different roads at night where one beam pattern would be better, say pencil beams for long open roads and a spread beam for tight enclosed roads. Plus with the different light intensities, it prevents feeling blinded from too much light in a small space. Highly recommend, though if you want to keep the LINX system you may need to wait until ARB bring out the update to include them.

Nice detailed video Todd! I’m interested in how the variable beam function actually works? Does it switch different LED’s on and off that have different spread lenses? Or does it move the LED’s in and out of the lens somehow to adjust its beam?

Thanks mate, really appreciate it! Yeah I was really interested too and couldn't find any info before receiving the lights personally. The variability comes from half the LEDs being spot, and half flood. So turning the dial all the way to full spot, means that only the spot LEDs are illuminated, not the floods, and visa versa.

Hey Todd, now you've had these on your vehicle for a few months, how do you rate them? I am tossing between these or a set of Stedis

Hi Rob, Yep after having them on for a length of time I am still completely happy with them. Great distance and spread, but the ability to change the intensity and beam pattern is awesome. I am still finding out what combos work best in different situations, but for now having the dial just off full spot, and with 6/7 intensity seems best for the smaller roads I drive at night. Definitely rate these. That being said I am yet to hear anyone say anything bad about the Stedi type X Pro lights. Never had any experience with them myself.

Wow that's definitely a game changing light! Being able to control the intensity and style of beam would be awesome! Being able to change the colour from Orange to white would be cool as well. Great run through Todd 👍👌
