The Baltimore Club Channel ive herd this before. Its not bad but seems like in the past 10yrs we lost our unique sound in club music. I grew up in the 90s from the old Dj boobie/rod lee days to some yrs after swift.. The hammerjacks and paradox days!!!. Seems like jersey gets all the respect nowadays. Back than bmore was the mecca of the country for club music.. We was shitting on them DC bamahs and jersey or philly aint have shit on us..

I completely understand what you're saying and I feel you. The old heads are gonna prefer older classic sounds. I love those sounds but I also like what some of these new producers have evolved into cause it also pushed the dance scene there. But with all the things going on in Baltimore, political and etc, unfortunately the ball was dropped & people just started not to push it as much. I have a good feeling about 2018 for those who want it though. But it'll also take the support from older people to respect the interesting stuff the newer generation is doing. People still make classic Bmore club sounds with an updated twist and while thats great, others complained about not having something new & different so thats what has been happening over the years and thats what this channel is about.

The Baltimore Club Channel progress is good. My biggest gripe with the newer club music and even hiphop is it doesn't have the rawness of the shit from the 90s and 2000s. Kinda how if u listen to wu's 1st album, how it sounds like it was made with turn tables for sampling and a 808 machine in RZA's basement. Its raw and uncut. The newer club sounds like it was made professionally in a studio with Pro Tools. Dj's can still kill it with new sounds but keep that raw sound that put bmore on the map. I hope ur right. I hope 2018 will rise bmore club from the ashes..✌
