It matters but the #2 running back from last year and the #1 running back over the past two years on the #1 rushing offense is going to be better. Henry has never not been the main focus of the offense.

NFL on NBC good commentary good analysis. I am a Ravens fan who was disappointed that we didn’t run the football and the championship game. Gus Edwards touched the ball three times running Justin Hill touch the ball three times running. I don’t count Lamar. Jackson’s runs as a running back. He’s an opportunist and escape artist who happens to be able to run. Coach John Harbaugh is responsible for all departments offensive coordinators, defensive coordinators. Somebody should’ve been room chewed out because they didn’t run the ball six times with the running backs. And Gus Edwards had a nice play run 19 yards to get his in first scoring position and didn’t touch the ball barely. Nothing after that. So now we got Derek Henry. Does that mean they’re gonna run the ball 25 times. The new offensive coordinator did a great job with Lamar. But we are known to be a physical team and if they don’t get it done this year there’s nothing positive I can say. We lost our defensive coordinator who is now head coach and Seattle. He did a great job holding Kansas City to only 17 points. We blew it. I hope they correct what they messed up. A lot of Ravens fans are stealing disbelief.

Won't stress defenses like Henry does and will. Unless you spend a top 2rd draft pick on one and hit a home run with whoever it is. And we really need to spend those draft picks elsewhere. Also, Henry is actually pretty decent catching out of the backfield. It's an underated part of his game. He's also really good in pass protection. Which we desperately needed when Justice Hill was whiffing on blocks against the Chiefs causing serious pressure on Lamar

With so many offensive coaches that have been fired recently, Defensive head coaches should add guys like that to their staff. If you are the Ravens you can add a Frank Reich or Josh McDaniels. The Patriots could add a Hue Jackson or even someone like the Steelers.
