The Ravens need a WR2, and as a big Zay Flowers believer expecting a guy who had an 850yd season to make the jump to a WR1 is a big enough risk on it's own but the fact that every other WR we have is a 3 or 4 AT BEST just makes it that much worse. Adding one of the remaining free agent WRs is pointless, none of them are even in the ballpark of good enough to what the Ravens need. Everyone is talking about Bateman and whoever else is gonna "get Odell's targets" as if what we had last year was good enough... we need to have a better passing game than last season, but instead we're trying to replicate and underwhelming passing offense with less weapons.

You're not necessarily wrong, but your forgetting about the effect Derrick Henry will have in driving defenses closer to the box. That eliminates a lot of double teams

I'm not confident Zay can be a #1 I think he's a really good #2 and I think Bateman is a #3 and not sure if he can jump to #2 or #1 I hope they prove me wrong as I do like the both of them but I think we should stop being stingy and get Lamar a true #1 WR off the market already proven like what Anquan Boldin was to Flacco I truly believe that is one of the biggest missing pieces to making it to the Superbowl for this team

Pat Ricard doesn't get enough respect. He doesn't have any defensive counterparts in the league really. They don't make 300 pound linebackers. He's like an extra lineman who is always eligible and capable of making big yardage if you don't cover him. He has knocked more linebackers to the ground than anyone I've ever seen before. I would hate to play against a fullback like that.
