We lost a game we were leading whole game, losing by 3 to Raiders as clock ran out. Losing by 7 to the Chiefs, in Kansas City, where every time we got ahead the refs through a penalty somewhere away from the play to hold the Ravens back. All calls were one sided for the Chiefs. We tied the game at the end to go into overtime, but the ref called a toe on the line out of bounds. Replaying in slow motion The ball of his foot came down inbounds first before the toe on the line.... At that point we're going into overtime and winning it..... This game should be one of the better games this week. Two teams who had disappointing weeks and two teams who should be better than they are. Both teams need this win in order to solidify their identities this season; so I expect it to be a ground and pound type of game. I think the Ravens will play the Cowboys really hard and come out of this one with their first win. As I said, they need this win in order to establish their identity. They have an AFC North title to defend after all. Ravens take this one in a close game, 27-21.

You know why some elite teams are starting the season bad vs mediocre or middle of the road teams starting looking like contenders? Preseason or the lack thereof of starters play in the preseason for teams like the Ravens, Bengals, Cowboys, Eagles, etc. While teams that are starting hot that nobody expected mostly all had their starters play in the preseason. It makes the first few weeks of the NFL season lopsided because the teams you expect to be good are still rusty while the teams you expect to be bad or mediocre look great because they played in the preseason.
