I Know some black people are going to misinterpret what I am about to say as usual. But as much as I love this story . Please understand sports cannot be our people major way out of poverty. White conservative America would love nothing more for us to think pursuit of professional sports helps our black communities when it's so far from the truth . Actually it only pushes us in one direction. Get money. Like drug dealers. Thinking only of ourselves and a clouded reality. That reality is we fall farther behind wealthy white society who praise black athletic stars while they hold hate for black culture. Example NFL fans were rotten to Colin Kaepernick, and that ugliness was swept under the rug and arrived dead on arrival years later to simply quiet the issue and get back to cheering for the sport , while rich white owners continue to prosper and Jay z and the half time entertainment solution hasn't moved the needle at all.

Who says black women single mothers can't raise powerful men who become accountable, focused, rich, humble, and loving men?
@SpeciesUnknown3 ай бұрын
Women can raise men but women cannot teach boys how to be men and the fact that BM abandon their children at high rates doesn't help any. The fact that the father abandoned his responsibility and left his son and his child's mother in poverty is inexcusable
@proudlysouthafrican43683 ай бұрын
Black Mothers have done that all over the World...But,the sad part is...Majority of Single Black Mothers fail....Most of their Son's end up dead before the age of 22 or in Prison. We as Black people need to find out,why do so many Black Men abandone their kids...And once we can pin point that,we can start fixing the Black Homes. Let it be known,that that is the 1 number issue in a Black Home...Not racism...

70’s and 80’s men were mostly raised by single parent women and they did a good job but this late 90’s generation rap,drugs has hurt women trying to raise kids alone.now days daddy look like a rapper and mom do to.
@HoopGPT3 ай бұрын
Are you seriously blaming late 90s rap for societies problems in the family unit 😭😭😂 guess what rap has been around since the 70s and those parents that did such a “good job” were the ones who taught the 90s babies that you dislike 💯
