Hey drew. I have been sober many times. But I always come back. Bam to me looks like someone who is struggling with his addiction and is still fighting with sobriety. I think he is sober right now. Or at least during this video. Being sober as an addict is the worst scenario for an addict in their head. But. I see he is working very hard for it. I see he wants it. And for you and Bam and everyone else. You will be sober when you are ready. Do not feel guilty if you fall from sobriety. This is super important. To everyone who is trying to quit whatever addictive substance you are facing. Know this. You are trying to quit it. That in itself is amazing. You know it is not working out for you. It means you care. I am tearing up right now. Your addiction does not define you. Only you define you. Lets fight this shit together. All of us!

This is a way better interview with these two. The last one I watched was on Steve-O's podcast and Steve-O spent the whole time talking over Bam, when it was clear Bam had a lot to share, but couldn't complete a sentence.

He is just fine, he got paid Bank from Jackass show and movies he owns a percentage of jackass he made tens of millions of dollars from it, the main men getting paid from Jackass was Johnny Knoxville Jeff Tremain and Bam the other dudes made a a fraction from jackass compared to those three! From all his shows and sponsers remember he sold more boards than Tony Hawk! He is worth $25million or more! He is just fine!

I love Tyson's podcast. I can't remember who he was talking to but one of his guests said he was in pain and asked Mike for a joint. Mike, of course, was smoking his own joint but he reached behind himself, grabbed a joint, and gave it to the guest. Then Mike asked him "Do you smoke marijuana for pain?" The guest said "Yes." Mike said "Be honest. You really just like to get high don't you." I cracked up.

This is crazy. I got sober on September 27th after 18 years on every drug Under the Sun but the one that grabbed me and never let go was opiates 18 f****** years out of 41 years of my life they controlled me ruined me and now I remember my 6 or 7th Day of detox I was watching videos trying to just get through and Novak's story came up and I watched it and it just helped me get through that day and that's what it's about day by day I grew up watching these assholes I loved everything they did I was a little too young to kind of know everything that was going on behind the cameras and then when I was in the middle of my 20s I was so wasted I didn't even know if jackass still existed or not so it is very calming and very inspiring to watch these two guys that I've looked up to talk about life without drugs or alcohol and see them smile you guys are changing the world once again at first she did it with laughter and now you're doing it by setting a good example and letting kids know that this s*** is not a fun ride and you don't have to go down it love you guys stay safe❤❤❤🙌🙌🙌⏳💋

Its a badass mentality to do something great knowing no one else will see it. Sure i agree with striving to record cool stuff for entertainment. I also see the greatness in doing something for your own mental achievment. A very mild form of this is the scene in the movie "stand by me" where the kid sees the deer but keeps it to himself. Ive done plenty of stuff off camera that, yeah id love to have on film but the pure rush of adrenaline alone is enough for me.
