Bamberg Symphony: BÜHNE FREI FÜR DIE BLOCKFLÖTE

Ein ganz besonderes Instrument steht im Fokus dieses Kooperationsprojekts, das 2021 mitten in der Corona-Zeit entstand: Die Bamberger Symphoniker widmen sich hier gemeinsam mit Jeremias Schwarzer (Projektleitung und Solist) und Jonathan Stockhammer (Dirigent) anhand von Werken des japanischen Komponisten Dai Fujikura der Vielfältigkeit der Blockflöte. Blockflötenschüler*innen aus Bamberg und der Region wirkten bei diesem Projekt mit, das von Filmemacherin Wiebke Pöpel dokumentiert wurde.
Neben dem Film „Bühne frei für…die Blockflöte!“ sind hier auch die kompletten Konzertmitschnitte der Werke „Recorder Concerto“ und „Longing from afar“ von Dai Fujikura und den Bamberger Symphonikern abrufbar, die im Frühjahr 2021 entstanden sind.
A very special instrument is the focus of this cooperation project, which was created in 2021 in the middle of the Corona period: the Bamberg Symphony, together with Jeremias Schwarzer (project leader and soloist) and Jonathan Stockhammer (conductor), dedicate themselves to the diversity of the recorder with works by the Japanese composer Dai Fujikura. Recorder students from Bamberg and the region took part in this project, which was documented by filmmaker Wiebke Pöpel.
In addition to the film "Clear the Stage for the... recorder!", the complete concert recordings of the works "Recorder Concerto" and "Longing from afar" by Dai Fujikura and the Bamberg Symphony, which were made in spring 2021, are also available here.
