This is by far the most concise and well laid out tutorials for this game. Very well done! Just one omission is when you choose a temple on your player board you can pay 1 coin per incense stick to put it into a non-matching Temple.

I was frustrated with the clarity in other videos and things I have seen of this game. This was very clear, thank you. In your example of end game scoring the remaining objective tiles for half points you indicate that the L shape objective isn't met. Am I missing some condition about those tiles as it seems to me that this tile is achieved if starting the L on the tile in the leftmost colum? The numbers reach 9 and the shape is made.

Another great video explanation. This game LOOKS amazing - I love the graphics and production; however, it seems like there is a lot of setup and a bit fiddly, lots of rules overhead. Is it just me?

@@MeepleUniversity Yes! It reminds me of IKI in terms of iconography. IKI also has a lot of rules/setup/overhead but get much clearer once you get into it and it all makes sense!

There are several mistakes: according to the HTP video from Devir Official, the bamboo drafting is snake drafting. First from start player to last then from last player to the start player, here is the timestamp kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpzNcnhrqtKnjKM. Hello, thank you for the visit🙏. We sent the video to Devir, so not sure, but we had the video checked out by Devir. And it says on page 11 on the English rulebook that "food counters are only replenished once you have used all of those present on the main game board" . Same with the draft, rules doesnt say anything about snake draft (Setup E). So maybe either they have updated the rulebook, or lost in translation, we have 5 languages rulebook in the game 😂
