watched many kinds of ways to serve nagashi somen at a restaurant, this one is my favorite soo far... a personal table with your own bamboo and bowl without worrying much about the missed noodles flowing down...
@ylein65083 ай бұрын
I was so grossed out by the common one where everyone just grabs some from the same bamboo slide. This one is better

More hygienic with private bamboo slide. if it's using a common bamboo slide, I want to sit the closest and be the first to grab the noodles. Everyone else down the slide can taste the saliva from my chopsticks 😂😂😂

@@ylein6508It's definitely the traditional method, but here they completely understand what modern customers think. Changing and adapting is why these places survive.

Looks like not only you but the people at the other tables were also happily eating and laughing. It made me happy that someone else is happy through good food and enjoying themselves. Ramune is available in India too but it goes by the name Goli Soda, Goli meaning "round" and its often a marbles-kind ball.

I don't think I've ever been so happy for two people going after their happy. Especially not while eating noodles off a waterslide in the middle of nowhere Japan. *blinking back tears over here*

I would be way to stressed to ask them to pause so I’d have an overflowing basin of noodles at the bottom 😂

I like this setup better than the other one you went to. I like that if you miss catching the noodles, they sit in the bowl till you're ready. Unlike the other place where they went by you really fast and was gone. More bang for your buck here.😊
