That's awesome. Bambu Labs is definitely the printer I'll get. I think the X1 carbon combo with AMS. It's just consistently good quality.

Just got a 4th Bambu X1 Carbon in today. Set up easily and already printing. Very easy to use and just FUN! Thanks!

I would agree. It has become my workhorse, and the best value printer. The X1 is worth the premium - in my opinion

Instead of deleting the parts, you can create another plate (by using the second button from the tool shelf) and organize your parts in groups...

the light going darker is the printer it self. It does not change the brightness of the camera on light change but only when the printer is first turned on.

Those Bambu printers do such a good job that it's a little infuriating honestly. Their mini bed slinger is like $299 and has input shaping and is built like a tank. One day I'll get it, I just know I will.

Have you tried to print multicolor sequential print. So place the the red from lowest to highest then black from lowest to highest then do sequential printing you would have one colour change. The envelope for the extruder can be tweaked and you can put parts near edges to maximize space between. if on your parts you want to items to print at the same time you group them then change order to print from front left to rear right.. on prusa slicer it’s a bit of a pain sometimes. As it doesn’t order left to right front to back. It will place item one to rear then next at front then middle. I should hit them up as it would be a handy feature to be able to change the item number without rearranging the sheet placement. Or setting arrange placement in a certain order if sequential is clicked. Anyway something worth trialling. As you could run a multicolor print without having to baby sit it.

Definitly the best way to do it on one printer. Of course, as she has a lot of printers, the fastest way of course would be to use one printer perv filament in parallel ;-)
@75keg75 Жыл бұрын
@@oleurgast730 to use multiple printers to print parts that join (with tight tolerances) can bring its own inherent issues. The printer and materials need to be calibrated so that each printer prints nearly the exact same size. I had a wet mould that was too long. I split into half so had 4 parts I print half on one and half on the other. When I went to join there was discrepancies. Between part 1 and part of the top mould. And same with bottom. Ideal I should have printed the top on one printer and bottom on second printer and that way they match tolerances. I could spend time to ensure 200mm is 200mm and shrinkage is established as that comes into play too.

I need to figure out how to change that. I know it's possible. I actually printed all of the red carbon fiber on 1 machine and the black on a 2nd machine. I was nervous they wouldn't fit together, but they seem to have plenty of slack. Thanks!

The mouse looks cool. That is a great color. I was looking at ordering some of that too. I will have to see if they get any of the kits back in stock. You mentioned that you used the Cool Plate, did you also use the recommended Hardened Steel Nozzle? Filaments with carbon fiber tend to be hard on stainless steel nozzles.

Hubby is looking at ordering a couple more because he liked it so much. I think the kits are just a week or so until they ship. Not too bad. Actually the Bambu Carbon ships with a hardened nozzle already. But I'll definitely keep an eye on it. Thanks!

Same. I was really hoping that was the secret one they were going to announce. Makes me wonder now if they'll just do an A1 XL before a coreXY version. Thanks!

That is actually beautiful! The design is great, but I really like the matte finish of the red and black. Don't run too much CF, unless you are using a hardened nozzle. One thing you talked about puts me off of the AMS, even though I was initially excited about it. That being print time. If I heard correctly, all parts with 2 colors would take 18+ hours. All parts one color brings it down 4 hours. So, again if my math is correct, that's an additional 14 hours just for color changes. IMO, that's totally unacceptable. And who knows how much waste that would result in.
@tada3dprinting Жыл бұрын
I would basically be forcing two color changes each layer by doing a completely solid print in a different color. Not very efficient but there is another way to just print all the red and then the black. I need to find the option. Can't remember what it's called. Bambu Carbon actually come with a hardened nozzle. I was a little surprised by this. Thanks!

@@tada3dprinting Do you mean this?; Bambulab -> Others/Print Sequence/By Object
@woodwaker1 Жыл бұрын
The ability to change colors is a tool, you have to understand the best way to use it. In this case it serves no benefit, but if you wanted a colored logo, or just a small area of color this would be the only way to do it - without painting
