The only thing I could suggest for anyone running this as their server is to run a mod that let's you set no build zones to prevent a lot of these issues. Kind of shitty of the dev to be unwilling to take criticism when they only thing keeping ark alive are the players.

While I completely agree with you about your points at the end of the vid, I don't think Nekatus is necessarily the one to blame. He built a PvE map, Wildcard paid him for it, and they didn't modify it well enough for PvP. Nekatus isn't the one making the calls at the end of the day, he's just doing his job.

He was still being a massive douche and disrespectful, he didn't bother giving a damn to see the message I sent him that I showed at the end INSTEAD he unfollowed me. He only cares about PVE and can't handle criticism at the end of the day and he should work on that. I told him how to fix the issue, he told me to stop and then I apologized and sent him a message how the pvp community feels and he took ZERO Consideration into it.

I remember seeing Nekatus getting BUTTHURT when Lost Island was announced as the next community map instead of Fjordur. Legit threw a hissy fit. Ced got on there like "We love you! " Fjordur is a really good map but some of the aspects like the ele situation and a WC that doesn't listen to the community put a bad taste in peoples mouths. Would've been nice to PVP on a map other than Center for a chance

Nekatus makes good maps but he has a bad attitude towards the community and even the dev team if he doesn't get his way. Fjordur is fun but they should've cut ties with him when he threw his hissy fit when LI was selected instead of Fjordur.

I completely agree and to go on top of what u already said is the teleporting feature is cool but dumb like for example me and my tribe decided to give this tribe an online raid for some fun so we fob up and start soaking and the second we start they take literally everything in there base and teleport away and they didn’t even have tek it’s just another reason why fjoudur isn’t a good pvp map and I 💯 with u on the changes that need to come to this map

the whole PvP vs PvE thing is a tough one for me. Personally, I've never touched PvP, for two main reasons, 1. I live in Australia and there are like 0 decent servers of OC and I hate playing with any ping or lag whatsoever and 2. I know its the most common Copout but atm I'm pretty busy, I've got school and work to worry about and don't like the fact that if I'm off for literally a couple hours to 1 day, my base is just gone. I prefer PvE where I can have fun, tame creatures I like and mutate creatures I like (I did dilo mutations the other week something I would never do on PvP lol). But even as a PvE player, I can definitely see how rediciulous this map is, I can't imagine how bullshit it must be to be locked out off tek tier and completely outclassed. Regarding who's at fault more Wildcard or Nekatus I think to an extent they both are, Nekatus as a map creator should have had the foresight that a map as incredible as fjordur would eventually be made public and designed it with some aspects of PvP gameplay, and, while I believe that BAM and most of the community takes it too far regarding hate to Wildcard, I do agree that they should have done something about the imbalance. Overall its unfortunate that an incredible map can't be enjoyed but both PvP and PvE players and I do think Nekatus should have handled the situation with BAM and other PvP content creators more maturely and not just resorted to blocking and ignoring them..... well anyway that's my take :) great video BAM putting out the great content like always
