He was attacked in a Rotterdam nightclub by two guys. The scuffle ended up in the nightclub car park with Peter suffering a broken ankle. His attackers had tried to kill him attempting to run him down with their car. A cast was put on the broken ankle but Peter cut it off with a hacksaw and fought Rob Kaman neglecting the injury. The ankle injury never healed properly and unfortunately he had to end his career. With his career over he suffered depression and became addicted to cocaine. He ran into trouble with the police committing thefts to support his addiction and ended up serving a 7 month sentence in jail in 2000. He rebuilt his life when he was released from jail, drug free, however, had he difficulties training due to the ankle injury. On August 15, 2005 he was shot to death in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, after he stood up for his friend.

@@aardvarkhendricks6555 oh okay sorry but you know what happened to him so I assumed you are Dutch. I lived not far from him and knew him, he was a very nice guy. But unfortunately he got involved in some bad company. As you said; he got shot in R’dam. What I heard he was set up.

In my utmost humble opinion. In our” Modern” Era, there is so much practitioners of respective arts can learn from the warriors of the past, especially in relations to overall kicking technique, proper chambering, flexibility, dexterity, isometric strength exercises; were all an staple for the golden era kickboxers due to the fact that most of them came from traditional backgrounds which implemented such training methods as fundamental part of its curriculum. One of the difficulties of being able to kick like this is that it takes years with applied effort to master, even more so in an sparring/ fight context, but perseverance with aspiration to seek perfection with proper implemented training methods, will yield desired results as long as one remains consistent. Truly appreciate your channel, such an honor to be able to observe and learn from such amazing practitioners, athletes and martial artists that excel within their field at such an remarkable high level. Sincere regards. Fellow Martial Artist. Tom Framnes. Norway.

he actually needed training he was tough kid but didn’t really train much on and off didn’t take boxing too seriously but he was tough and had guts many heavy professionals scary boxers were scared shitless in the ring with mike this guy wasn’t didn’t even think twice so he does have the heart and balls and he has tough body he was a great boxer he just didn’t have proper training and didn’t train much if you guys know he used to party club do drugs everyday he wasn’t into boxing more the partying and I strongly believed if he was training like mike Tyson he would have beat my Tyson his body was strong just dumb ass boxer with not much skills and didn’t take it seriously
