"Bana Ya Kongo" - Congolese Revolutionary Song [Lyrics + Translation]

This Congolese patriotic anthem calls for the unity of the nation in the midst of the Congo Crisis, a series of civil wars and rebellions from 1960 to 1965, where secessionist states such as Katanga, South Kasai, and the Free Republic of the Congo fought to separate in the wake of the Congo's independence.
First pictured is Patrice Lumumba, the first Prime Minister of the DRC, who played a significant role in the fulfillment of the Congo's independence. He was assassinated in 1961, at just 35 years of age.
This song is in Lingala, a language apoken in the northern half of the DRC. Had to sell an arm and a leg to get these lyrics :)

The rythme sounds more gregorian songs. If ever we need to replace the national song, we have to translate the same " Debout Congolais" in Lingala/Swahili/ Kikongo and/ Tshiluba so that everyone can freely sing in his Mother tongue and understand the whole meaning .

The name kongo means the truth. One day, YAHUAH will deliver us (africans and it diaspora worldwide) from all the suffering we've been through since our enemies took over centuries ago, or should I say discovery as they themselves put it. Yah will not sleep, and our enemies will not go unpublished. I pray for that day to come as we have endured a lot, peace.
