Hi Gerry, I really loved those river shots, and that shot of that large beetle with the blue legs, impressive. Some very interesting shots and from different prespectives, this keeps the viewer interested. I liked the low puddle shot with the rain falling, really simple shot, but effective and very different. Again the shot of the trees swaying in the wind looming above, excellent. As always very crisp footage, loverly presentation. 10 miles a heck of a long walk, well for me!!!

Cheers Aidan, as you know well there is a great mix of the small and large when out exploring in the countryside and it is cool to try and capture both. It felt a long walk, especially after getting soaked in a big shower ;-)

Really good to see you smile and laugh gerry. I can see why - the fresh air, drizzle rain, the rushing waters and the forest all combined to make up what you love. Brilliant. I liked that little multi colored sweat top sculpture. An oddity on the trail. All good. Take care over there. Mark
@gerrymcveigh5 жыл бұрын
Cheers Mark, you gotta love all those things and as we know they are so good for us :-) I thought that about the sweat top - there were other clothes similar later with a note about a lost dog so they must have been to try and comfort/attract the dog with something that was familiar. You take care too over there :-)

@@gerrymcveigh A real pleasure gerry. I did mention but it was a full view. Enjoyed to. Yeah gotta get involved with them things that make us feel good. For some that's going out with the dog - I wonder if they found it. Have a good one....

The last time I was up through Banagher Glen was after that really dry spell we had and the water level was well down. A lovely area and probably one of my favourite danders in the Sperrins.
@gerrymcveigh5 жыл бұрын
I would agree that it is probably one of my favourites too. I have done an out and back to the top of Mullaghmore from Banagher Glen a few times too which is pretty cool :-)

Great video Gerry! Great video and sound quality, what set up are you using to film?
@gerrymcveigh4 жыл бұрын
Cheers, that was a new camera - Panasonic Lumix G9 which shoots 4K and replaced my old Canon DSLR. Using camera's own sound though have been trying to get set up with a mic that deals with the ever present wind noise!

Almost like a rain forest Gerry. I'm sure those steps were no bother to you - easier than a few hundred metres up through heather :)

Adrian, definitely easier than thick heather - i did a light jog up ;-) it is a beautiful place to visit and one of those where you see something new every time :-)
