I'm very confused, the piggy family is fine however but...what about Penny?She had no technology, meaning there was no way for her to know that the infection was over,and there's no reason for her to go back to the house, because she didn't know anything that happened since then.

branched realities chapters are *not linked* each chapter is a different timeline of what would happen if something within the original timeline was different the house chapter and the outpost chapter aren't related, which means penny might've not avoided the infection in this one

Fun fact: When underground, you can actually carry BOTH of the vials needed to escape the map. Which if you are doing solo, makes for a faster escape and is quicker.
