If Keren and Sara had done what they promised her they would do- make at least a single with her, there might never have been a reconciliation with Marcella. It was a nonnegotiable condition of Siobhan joining their tour. And it wasn’t honoured. Unless they make things right, she won’t be back for more. As for Jax, don’t hold out hope that they will want her to come tour with them. I think they see her as immature, undisciplined and unprofessional. It was a big mistake for her to leave and for the other two to let her do so. With enough time and enough new Bananarama albums, people would have stopped seeing her as the new girl and comparing her to Siobhan. A few hit songs written by her would have sped that process along. Love, Truth & Honesty is a fantastic song and, if it’s an indication of her songwriting ability, then her leaving was as disastrous for Bananarama as Siobhan’s departure. Sara and Keren have struggled to write commercially successful songs on their own. And Bananarama is more effective performing with three people than two, as the reunion tour clearly showed.

😳🙄You do realize that they were singing it live instead of miming/lip syncing like they did in the 80s, don’t you? You can dance up a storm and be a lot more expressive when you are not actually singing the song. Unlike you, the crowd appreciated what they did. And Keren and Siobhan had tons of energy.
