Bananarama talk female friendship and being disruptive - BBC Radio 4 2017

Bananarama are back! The trio defined 80s pop with their punk spirit and were the most successful girl group of all time.
They split in 1988, after almost ten years together, but now Siobhan Fahey, Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward have reunited almost 30 years later for a UK tour and spoke to Woman's Hour.

I think all of her are very strong and opinionated women, and now I understand bette, that this has always been a strong aspect of their success, this thing to have a certain vision of things and insisting of letting your own vision flow into the product. Bananarama may have started as a joke or just for fun but, today, I realise more than ever, they also become long lasting and serious business and there must be also a portion of talent thee to achieve this. For me one of the most interesting cases of pop history

I feel bad for Jacqui, the one that had to fill in for Siobhan all those years, and then gets forgotten about when Siobhan decided to pick up where she left off 🫤 preferred the original line up if I’m being honest.
