As beautiful as these women are, the music speaks for itself. Their talent is off the charts. RIP Jan Keuhnemund. I met her in Florida & she was an even nicer, more humble person than you could possibly imagine, speaking to her was like talking to someone you had known all your life, your best friend. She was the kind of person you only meet a handful of times in a lifetime. If you are fortunate. Jan Keuhnemund was absolutely electrifying on lead guitar.

They were the best female rock/ metal band I have ever saw live three times in 1989-1990. Like a lot of the late '80's bands they were screwed over by the arrival of grunge. I think many bands like Vixen etc would have gone on to bigger and better things if they had arrived on the scene a few years earlier. Tyketto were another great new band I saw live in 1991 and they unfortunately had the same problem.

Wow 80s metal. It was a glorious time. The crap that passes for music these days is appalling. Recently I saw a video of a 1994 performance by Nirvana. How the hell did that bilge ever push heavy metal out of the way. I would never pay money to see a band that didn't even see fit to bathe before going on stage.the powers-that-be in the music press and on classic Rock radio might think the sun rises and sets on Nirvana but personally I think they sucked.I apologize for speaking ill of the dead but Kurt Cobain had a voice like a hinge and his guitar playing was like nails on a blackboard. Anyway Long live 80s metal!vixen you were the queens of the genre and I was saddened to hear of the passing of Jan. Every time we hear thunder we know it's the rockers who are no longer with us still kicking out the jams.
@jadedheartsz3 жыл бұрын
@@mikemcdonough3822 Nirvana themselves never even wanted to be famous and clearly resented having to do press, they would've been perfectly happy just playing to clubs in Seattle as they only ever wanted to be an "alternative" to hair metal, not to replace it.

Whoah-oh - I can see you've felt some pain Whoah-oh - I know you've been hurt before Whoah-oh - But I swear you won't get hurt no more - tell me How much love is it gonna take, to prove I'm not another heartache Till you begin to let your heart give in, how much love is it gonna take I'm reachin' for you, gettin' so close, but you're always a step away I wanna touch you 'n give my love, what is it gonna take Whoah-oh - I can see it in your eyes Whoah-oh - that you want to let me in Whoah-oh - But you're scared that you'll get hurt again - tell me How much love is it gonna take, to prove I'm not another heartache Till you begin to let your heart give in, how much love is it gonna take I've been searchin' for an answer, oooh tell me what it's gonna be How much love is it gonna take, to prove I'm not another heartache Till you begin to let your heart give in, how much love is it gonna take
