Thank You for this, as a large dating site/app owner I just went through hell regarding merchant accounts. We used Stripe for years, however, stripe decided that they would no longer allow any dating sites to use their services and canceled our stripe account leaving us with Paypal only. we lost over 80% of our recurring when they did that and took a major hit. It was really hard getting a new merchant account. Our Chargeback rate is .1 - .8%.

Im dealing with this now, who are you using for your merchant account? I had EMSData and they locked all our funds because they said they needed to "call" each of my customers. We are an app, nobody expects a phone call lol.

same here! now i have multiple credit processors just in case. looking for a 3rd party subscription service that could bring subs to another provider

However, we have encountered several challenges related to dispute resolution with these platforms. Notably, there has been a noticeable uptick in friendly fraud incidents during the recent holiday season. In response to these disputes, we have consistently provided comprehensive evidence-a practice that has previously resulted in favorable outcomes when dealing with platforms like PayPal and Stripe. However, we have observed a concerning lack of communication from Signature Payments following the submission of such evidence. This situation leads us to believe that these disputes might not be actively contested on our behalf by Signature Payments. We seek clarification and a more proactive approach in handling these disputes.
