BAND-E-AMIR NATIONAL PARK : BEAUTIFUL AFGHANISTAN

Band_e_Amir , National Park Afghanistan. What a major surprise this place was, didn't expect it to be a family place in the middle of the mountains! i dont know that ive seen such clear clear water like this ever. The lakes are created by natural dams high in the Hindu Kush. its approx 150m deep. The lakes formed from mineral rich water that seeped out the cracks of the rocky landscape, over time the water deposited layers of hard mineral (Travertine) that built up into the walls that now contain the water! ( one of the few Travertine systems in the world.
fun day had by all, me on the fair, jay found a horse, and the laughs with the driver and meeting locals...then food shopping for the family we had tea with the night before ...amazing day !!!!!

Anyone can take help from Taliban. i.e if u don't have much money they wll arrange you're stay & meal free of cost. I absolutely don't know before any Taliban member even. They helped me. 👑

Hey Emma. So those dough balls are called “Quroot”. They’re basically a dehydrated plain yogurt combined with salt and formed into cheese. Afghans would typically use “Quroot” for a dish called “Qurooti” which is bread pudding.

Heck, couldn't explain better Quroot, you can make or prepare many types of dishes one of them is Dandakay but with Quroot (Qowrat) so yummy anything with Qowrat is delicious.

Emma. Quroot is not cheese. It is made of pressed yogurt. The traditional way it is prepared is the following. They put the yogurt in a big pot and then shake the pot for 30 to 60 minutes; once the butter is separated they remove the butter and then put the liquid part in a large bag to remove the water from the liquid. The liquid turns to pressed yogurt and then they dry the pressed yogurt to become Quroot.

Hi Emma I hope your well? This vlog was amazing to watch. I'm sure it brought back some childhood memories for you as well as it did for me. It was like a family day out. A long drive with beautiful sceneries and views, amazing lakes and to top it up and fun day at the National Park. Your face lit up like a fire cracker as you enjoyed the ride on the CHAIR - O - PLANE. At that very moment it was like watching a child having the best time ever. Also your facial expression when you tasted the ice-cream was out of this world, it made me laugh out loud. 😂 Even though your only 75 you're still very much young at heart. 😂 CHAIR - O - PLANE RIDE A fun day out with friends I'm all set for a playful day Just like a child I'll enjoy my fun filled day So long since I've been on this type of event Childhood memories comes rushing back I'll go on all the rides for sure fun here resides The CHAIR - O PLANE takes me on a memorable journey of the past Round and round I spiral in the air The chains push out my feet, pushing me out as I feel the wind in my hair Feeling a wee dizzy laughter and cries, shouting out with fear and fun delight I close my eyes and feel the force as I swing side to side higher and higher I go A feeling in my stomach on the far side of control The thrill and excitement the adrenaline rush is out of control as my heart pounds faster and faster The ride comes to an end my head still spinning as my feet finally reaches the ground For something in me still feels the need for another adrenaline rush... About the white balls its called "qurood or quroot" it's made of buttermilk, it's just salty dried curd which is a by product of the butter making process. Theres 2 types, for snacking on its lighter in taste & softer the other is hard which is melted down to creamy consistency with water to use as sauce for traditional dishes, like a ashak, mantu, qurooti etc. All though your naswar session was short & funny 😂 please don't try naswar anymore or anything else which is an intoxicant in any country, keep safe 👍🏻
