I look forward to a series of concerts of the Ladies, backed by a full orchestra performing ALL of their music, to be streamed and recorded for release as a BD/DVD/CD set. I still hope for them to release a full live compilation of their best lives performances on CD.

Looking forward to your video on Band-Maid's constant evolution. They have evolved and matured over the years, and they have improved their technical skills and very much honed down their songwriting and production skills. They've always been a great live band. With new gear and stuff their live performances have become so good that many fans consider Band-Maid better live compared to the albums. I have to agree, and want to add that the experience of Okyuji cannot be replicated on DVD, BR, CD or KZbin. You just have to see them live. If you haven't done so already, go to their next show near you, or if you can afford, travel to see them. They are definitively a band you should see play live at least once 🙂

I always talk about the evolution of the band. But I always forget how much they have kept the same. They continue to be not only a talented bunch of musicians. But every song and every instrument is there to show off the song. It is easy to forget just how clever it is to know when to pull it back or to add that sprinkle of Maid magic. A great video and reminder again of what has stayed the same and what changes.

I believe Band-Maid's consistent evolution is tied directly to MIKU's progression on guitar. As she has improved, Kanami has been able to construct more complex songs (which pushes Akane & MISA to improve) while keeping the "Band-Maid" sound. No one expects MIKU to riff like Kanami (would be nice though), but the ceiling of what they can accomplish has skyrocketed. Adding a jazz section to a song tells you that they are still forward thinking in their musical journey. One example is Puzzle 2017 vs 2023 as a prime example (someone mentioned, the part just before the solo) of Kanami saying "you got this! After all, I wrote it for you to play one day and today is that day". Thanks Ohrenje & friends, as always great work.

Ohrenje, thank you for this video. The Maids have all gotten consistently better over this decade. I hope that after the band starts touring the West a lot more (especially Europe) their fanbase and recognition will grow. The main thing we Maidiacs can do is spread the word about them either person-to-person or through the internet. Roger Chance and The Carrier Pigeons are doing their part and I am where I can, but I wonder if there are other methods and media resources (beside your wonderful work) that can be utilized. I hope that MaidIt Co LLC will really expand the Band-Maid message along with we Maidiacs.

IMO - Kanami, Akane, and MISA! are musically trained to level of session musicians. They want each performance of the song to be prefect! And as complex their songs are becoming this pushes their level. I have no idea how they remember each note and drum beat or fill. Consistency is the mark of a great musician. We will never see a sloppy performance from Band-Maid only a more enhanced performance. Thank you Ohrenje! 🤘🕊️🦍🥷👸🏻👀PO!

Despite the fun exterior, it’s obvious they take their business and brand seriously. From show #1 until now, they appear onstage in the exact same positions. And they often appear the same way in photos. And they’ve done a masterful job of maintaining their prominence online and in media while keeping their privacy. It takes a lot of effort to make things look as easy as the Maids do

私的意見・昭和初期世代の私がバンドメイドを好きな理由 ●彼女達の根底はロックでは無く、歌謡曲だと思ってます。 詩の内容を伝える事が一番。伴奏だけで無く、楽器ソロさえ一部になっていると感じます。 ●メインメロディを同じ伴奏にせず、サビは統一感を持たせる。曲への想い入れを感じます。 ●プロの方の意見で"テンポが変わる"がありますが、それが正解なのでしょう。が、私的には刻みやメロディ表現が変わっているだけだと思っています。なので曲に均一の疾走感があり、違和感なく最後まで楽しめます。 ●彩姫さんの歌・歌詞の表現力向上が昭和初期世代として、とても嬉しい。 もちろん他のメンバーの進化も素晴らしい。 メインメロディと歌詞を際立たせるMaid(Made)-Rockの楽曲の作り方が大好きです。

Merci pour ton boulot Ohrenje, même en étant un super fan de band-maid depuis 2014 je commence comme d'autres ancien fan français a s'y désintéressé ayant aucun concert de band-maid au Canada ni en France. C'est rendu que je m'intéresse plus à Attarashi gakko, Hanabie qui sont venu 2 fois au Canada en 2024,Fate gear fessant une tournée canadienne et j'ai surtout découvert Sixiwanzi, sur internet, groupe chinois qui va prendre de l'expansion.

BAND-MAID is highly accomplished, and this is possible because of the quality of the band, as well as the skills of all the members. About BAND-MAID there is nothing negative. The miracle band.
