The song, which was not recorded on the new album and was released as a surprise gift to fans, was scheduled to premiere at the first live performance of Nippon Budokan, which was canceled due to social conditions. It's an emotional song that is packed with feelings for fans. The moment I started listening, I cried. I feel that their feelings really came to my heart. Congratulations to the best band in the world!

And because of each Band-Maid's member's authentic, caring character and joyful spirit, they have produced -- and earned --- the best Fanbase (including reactors ;-) a band could ever hope to have. I believe Band-Maid will go on to do great things in addition to their music and performances that will inspire their Fans to follow in kind helping to make, in some way, the world a better place to call home. Maybe kindness is one of those ways...

@@TomClark-Futoura Gosh i was just going to bed when i saw this. What lovely words Tom. I can't vouch for the world but i've met some wonderful Maidiacs on YT (Aw shucks, including you Tom) & reactors, MightyAvenger did a tribute to me when my mum died & i didn't know he was gonna do it. All the excellent info provided by people (Yep you again Tom), all the banter, links shared, people always willing to let you know when new B-M info drops out of the blue. Yep the Maidiac community is the nicest i know & i'm just proud to be a part of it with all of you, Tom. I'm going to bed now cos i'm really tired :)

It should almost be illegal to be so awesome! I get misty when I think of when they'll get to play this song in front of actual fans as opposed to on an internet stream. You can tell that they all poured every ounce of their heart and soul into this song. That being said I have to say that Misa is the MVP of this song. This is her best line by far to this point, and it truly holds all the other parts together.

Hello Patty! I am pretty sure the streaming availability ended on the 18th...Unless you were given a special pass code. Haha. I can't wait until the Blu-ray ships in May so I can watch the whole thing again. As for this song, I thought it was an incredibly beautiful song when I first heard it online. Such a heartfelt and emotional message.. When I watched it performed live it just became breathtaking.

Can't say enough about this band; "amazing" is a word that has become overused but these women are just that. They do so many things so well; there is no weak link in this band. I've been around long enough to hear/see amazing bands and I have to say they are the best metal/hard rock band of the last 30 yrs.

How dare it do that to you. In 1080p all i could discern were the little flecks of light shining on Kanami's nail polish. Oh yeah & everything else. The cheek of it. Tch ;)

It's the best band in the world these days... This song, for me, had 3 different stages. First stage: First time I heard it (on Spotify, right after the official release) I didn't like those samples in the beginning and at the end. And that was it, a beautiful melody like they know to do so well - And I must add that I listened to this song after looping over and over the Ten-Ton-Heavy-Crushing "Unseen World". Second Stage: Then I heard it twice... and the second time had gained some "weight", and those samples didn't really matter anymore... actually, they work really well... so it grew on me from the first to the second listen, so I listened to it some more and some more. Beautiful, beautiful song. The live concert is still included in this second stage - it just blew me away like any other song, I was going to mention Saiki as the "guilty" one to make it so so good, but then you listen to what MISA is doing on bass, Akane is either pure genius or is "simply" a human-drum-machine... I go for the first, of course, she just knows where to hit hard and where to fill the spaces with some delicate percussion, Kanami could just be there after composing this wonderful piece but, you know Kanami, she can't stand still and she just decorates the whole song between acoustic and electric guitar, and I can't imagine the dimension of this song without Miku's backing vocals. Third Stage: The video release with lyrics. When you know all about the main events, how Band-Maid started, what they went through, the different personalities of each one, and how much they want give to the fans and at the same time wanting to "take over the world" and you add all this to a whole year of a global pandemic, listening to this song and reading the lyrics it's heart-piercing. This is as real as you can get. This is not about some love affair between two people that went sadly wrong and not everyone will relate to... This is about a sittuation that the whole world is facing AND the love relation between Band-Maid and each of us, the fans. So, in this third stage I can't help but choke and get really emotional when I listen to the song... I was talking about how heavy "Unseen World" is, well, this is some other kind of heaviness. Sorry about my "essay", great reaction, need to check out all your Band-Maid reaction as I just subscribed. Cheers!!

Nice reaction. Saiki talked before they sang this song and was very emotional about the past year and what this song meant to the band. Here is the English translation of what she said. Saiki: We were supposed to meet you today. For the first time in a year, we thought we could meet you all, those of you who could come to see us, but we can’t meet you in the end. I’m sorry. Even though it’s not my fault. We have been having days of turmoil for about a year. In the beginning, we were very surprised because we hadn’t experienced it before, and we had no experience of not being able to meet others in person. We were sad, but we found we shouldn’t be sad in this situation. When I saw you masters and princesses on social media, you were more depressed than us, and we thought that’s terrible. We Band-Maid have been thinking about how to cheer up all of you in the last one year. We truly wanted to meet you at Nippon Budokan, but it’s impossible because of COVID, so let’s wait for the day when we can meet. And in the last one year… or in the COVID pandemic, we have become more eager to cheer you up, and we Band-Maid realized again it’s important to give our songs to you. That’s why we wrote this song for Budokan. We made the album also in the pandemic, so it might have a little similar feel, but this song is planned for Nippon Budokan, and we really want to give it to you masters and princesses now. Budokan is not our goal but just a stepping stone. We will perform at bigger venues, and we promise we will bring you there and give you even better songs, so let’s keep it up a little more. This is our present for you masters and princesses. Please listen to it.
