Is Akane from Band Maid one of the best rock drummers of all time?
I've created this highlight reel to put the argument out there that she should be in this conversation. The truly great & memorable drummers contribute to the signature sound of their band - Akane does this in spades.
Always serving the song but with her quick (and heavy) hands and feet she is always busy on the drums - not just a backbeat drummer - but one that often makes you wonder just how many limbs she actually has.
With her big goofy smile she is one of the most animated drummers as well, looking like she really does enjoy hitting things very fast and very hard. Great skills and a great personality to boot!
