Bubble is not only my fave Band Maid song, but one of my top 10 songs of all time! dbl ♥ One of the all time killer riffs in rock history!

It's just another example of how Band-Maid can play any kind of music. So great. All the isolated tracks for this song are available on Band-Maid Prime as well. So if you want to see Akane's kick work up close, you can.

No bullshit, i've listen to Bubble like a hundred times and i still found exciting things on it. The incredible and restraint drum work of Akane, the ultra groovy bass of Misa, Kanami the master of riffs and meaningful solos (she says way more in 10 seconds than most guitarists in an entire minute) well assisted by Miku on rhythm guitar, and of course Saiki, she's a true force to be reckon: her voice, breathe control and stamina are amazing Thanks Wave for revisiting this masterpiece and point out some things that i haven't noticed. This ladies never fails at impress me, even after hundred listens

Akane's tom work has always been a stand out feature of her drumming for me, It rarely sounds really heavy, there seems to be some lightness in the way she does it that makes her sound different to anyone else. Added to that whoever sets up her kit and mic's it is I think a master of their craft.

Excellent reaction 👌. One of the stars of the BandMaid catalog IMO. I have to tell you it is a lot more fun to watch BandMaid with you or Old Mr B than it is alone! BTW people in Hollywood pay stylists thousands of $$$ to get that " I combed my hair with a hand held egg mixer" look! So good job Rosie!!

If you watch the video where Miku goes to the Zemaitis factory to see how her “Flappy Pigeon” guitar is made, they also show her how they assemble the pearl-front guitar that she uses in this video (each piece of the mosaic is shaped & glued in place by hand). kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2OleKqpoaeFZrM

The pearl fronts aren't listed on their website anymore. I hope they're just temporarily out of stock and not permanently discontinued.
@davestafford82732 жыл бұрын
@@Metal_Auditor based on Miku’s tour, the amount of manual work required to make even a regular model might mean that they’d just be too expensive to sell very well. But that’s a shame - it’s a gorgeous looking guitar.

One thing I really love about BAND-MAID’s songwriting is the use of the main riff. You hear it at the beginning and after the first chorus. Then, they add a breakdown, a solo or slow things down before or after that and there’s a chorus or a bridge in the last part. And right at the end, they remind you of that great main riff you have forgotten because of all the awesome parts I mentioned before 😅

Thanks, Wave, for revisiting my most fav B-M song, Bubble! The song itself is fabulously awesome, and Sai-chan's wink (and MISA lying on the carpet and playing her bass) makes the MV version of this song even more special😍💕💕💕

Interesting that you brought up Saiki’s range. This is actually one of their songs where I feel she has always struggled with the high notes in the chorus. Either singing flat or not hitting it during live shows. Even for Line Cube Shibuya, she made the song work cleverly without actually hitting the original high notes. Very curious to see if after her leveling up over the last 2 years, she would finally be able to sing it as was intended during live shows, amidst their 20+ other demanding songs.
@Running-withscissors2 жыл бұрын
With the expanded tour announced (we all knew the venues were too small in original schedule haha), wouldnt it be cool if at a couple of the larger venues if they had special guests appear? For example, Imagine Bryan May showing up for this song? Gwen Stephanie sing a song with Saiki , Carlos Santana do a guitar battle with Kaname, Dave Grohl do a song with the maids, etc. That would be huge IMO.
@lurkmerchant2 жыл бұрын
Many musicians can play rock, metal, jazz, but funk is not as easy a genre to play as it sounds, especially when genre switches from one to another and to another many times within a song...Akane's drumming is so fluid, as usual...what can I say? Another great song.
@Metal_Auditor2 жыл бұрын
I wish Miku would still bring the pearl front on tour. I know having a signature model is awesome, but that thing is just so beautiful.

Re: the bizarre auto-translate. For some reason, most of these that are all goofy with Band-Maid's songs end up defaulting to trying to translate from Korean, rather than Japanese to English. I have no idea why that is the case, but I've noticed it with several of their songs, when it's not done officially by the band, and just left to the existing auto-translate algorithm.

Thanks Wave, I just love this song, and I hope they do it in October because the sing-along whoa- oh oh oh oh oh (how the hell do you write that?) would be super fun. So many cool things going on every 2 seconds in this song so great choice for a deeper dive. That talking part with the tom action is also in triple meter (6/8 maybe?) which makes it stand out even more. And that guitar solo is like something out of a country rock song. Love Saiki on this too where she just explodes into another gear - wow! This song deserves a lot more love IMO.
