Thanks for the reaction. As a Rush fan I’ve followed many of your reactions of their songs. Like a lot of Rush fans, I found Band Maid after Rush broke up and I’m entranced by them. I’m not sure about the comment about letting the music breathe, there are 2 guitar solos in this song. I really like it. I think you may wind up a few of their fans by calling them a fun little rock band, they’re much, much more than that. I’ll look forward to more of your reactions which are generally really enjoyable.

This is one of Band-Maid's 'go to' songs. They've played it so often that they can do it sleepwalking.

Check out the version from the Tokyo concert with the 14 fancam visuals over the live track. Saiki, Misa, & Kanami walk around in the audience on walkways while performing. So Good.

Interesting comment about breathing. I admit I have to agree with you somewhat. It is possible to have too much vocals, but, thankfully with Band Maid, that is remedied often during the live performances with extended guitar and bass solos. But,I get your point.

Japanese metal hum not sure what you have heard but I think you may have hit some of these but my suggestions are. Nemophila-Oiran live, Hanabie-Pardon Me I Have to Go Now mv, Unlucky Morpheus-Black Pentagram live and Ninjen Isu-Heartless Scat. This is a tiny list as in my humble opinion Japan is producing the best metal in the world right now.
