Such a classic Hard Rock tone in the best way. But I love how they have their own sound. They don't copy anyone. I don't know how popular they are overall but I can't get enough of them.

They've had the exact same five members from the beginning. Not many bands can say that, it's fascinating. By all accounts, no drama between them, just all really good friends with a common purpose, possibly even destiny, time will tell. (no audience here, on-line concert in the early covid days)

They’re a miracle of a band, with a really particular chemistry that makes them work. A little more ego, and it would all fall apart. But they all support each other and push each other to grow. It’s wonderful to watch what’s possible with a group like that.

I watched your face during Different. You did what I did the first time, not quite getting the beat at first at half verse it clicked and you caught the groove and by the end your couldn't remember Dice at all.

They are a 5 piece band from the beginning,, except for saiki joining late i think she joined 3 months after the band did some gigs, ,but it all happens in 2013..

Yep. They were a four piece for only a few weeks, and they only performed twice before Saiki joined

I've seen these amazing ladies four times and they just get better each time! This is from a online performance during the pandemic shut down, but they did several online concerts to help them and the Maidiacs through that time. Five friends and musicians that bring it, every time! Miku, the Small Pigeon, was determined that she wanted to have the best band on the planet and found four other ladies with the same goal. The same five members from the start till today! In instrumental songs you will see only four members, as the instrument songs were designed to give Saiki, the lead singer, a vocal break.

@BeardedDragonsDen she often plays with a pick and if she wants to slap she tucks the pick up with index finger. A neat trick!

Same 5 since forever; however, they do drop to four when they perform their instrumental tracks (they’ve released 4) If I could recommend one as an intro, it would be “From Now On.” Their logo changed in 2018. It definitely reminds me of Iron Maiden, and although I have zero evidence, I doubt it was a total coincidence or accident. “Band Maid” and “Iron Maiden?” Likely a respectful homage. “Different” represents their chaotic, skank beat, dense music. Another one is “Black Hole.” (You might flip for that one!) Neither are my blues and progressive rock faves, but anything Band Maid rocks. “DICE” is one of my top ten. There’s another online live two-fer “Manners/Black Hole,” which again pairs a funky rock song with their chaotic music. You can’t go wrong with Band Maid. The variety and quality are amazing
