My love and support for Band-Maid IS an Endless Story. Not because I'm some looney fanboy ( Don't say anything, now 😍), but because I know these girls as much as a solid fan can without being able to, you know, personally hang with them or something cool like that. Over the years their quality of composition, performance, and playing ability has been extremely high level and consistent -- from day one! And their personalities are genuine and authentic. They haven't changed at all over the years. They remain super humble, good natured, joyous and grateful... and dedicated to their fans feelings and requests. Even their outfits and when to wear them has never wavered. From their first album release to their last, Band-Maid has proven THEY ARE THE ROCK BAND to be watched and recognized as a major influence in prog rock music and in the music industry itself. They are a band you don't want to have never seen live. And once you do, you will also be telling an Endless Story! 😍

It jusr occurred to me, the best comparison might be Big Star. Not creating a "NEW" sound but re-interpreting, honing, and blending the work of their musical forebears in a way that will profoundly influence future musicians.

And the way that they blend genres into very dense yet super integrated music with new guitar tones (Kanami's first run in No God, for instance); Akane's drum patterns, fills and beats which go beyond any rock drumming we've ever heard; MISA's second-lead runs and slap/pick/finger techniques; Miku's unusual second vocal work and lyrics; and Saiki's powerful singing style... all has Band-Maid if not busting new trails out of their core genre, then certainly setting new tends in rock music for all rock musicians to consider and be inspired by. In short, I'd say Band-Maid is making waves by setting new playing, performance, and prolific work ethic standards that we'll see the results of for years to come. They've upped the game for all to follow!

There is a word "Ichigo-ichie" in Japan. It represents the hospitality of the tea ceremony, which means that it is a once-in-a-lifetime encounter and never again. It was also liked by the warriors(Samurai) on the battlefield who might die tomorrow. My life is only once, not repeated. I am grateful to have met BAND-MAID and to be there now.

Just as good now as it was when this came out. I love these ladies. -They'll always be my #1 band. So much to unpack in this song..... So many subtle layers and little things to delight you each listen. // There are pics of them in huge coats, filming this MV - so kudos for them for performing in the bitter cold too.... :)

Band-Maid is the best rock group out there, not taking away from any other best group. My playlist is basically Mamamoo(Check them out for the Best 4 singers ever), Band-Maid and Prince with the occasional Dreamcatcher, Bloodywood(check them out, Metal from India). It is almost unreal on how talented Band Maid is.

Ōshima The band's lead composer and guitarist KANAMI explained that endless Story was written as a stadium and arena song for crowds to sing along to. The grand, huge-scale music video was shot on the island of Ōshima in Tokyo.

Nice, Band Maid are great. Kanami is a brilliant song composer. Now Nemophila Hypnosis, like Band Maid both bands make you happy. You thought Revive was cool, wait till you catch Hypnosis. Band Maid, Nemophila, and Lovebites there with Nightwish, bands that write incredible music, that can move you.

Jen, you now need to react to Band-Maid's recently released official live video of "Endless Story" from their 10th Anniversary Tour finale at Yokohama Arena last November. It was before their biggest live audience on the tour. Kanami said she wrote the song to be an "anthem" song that the audience could participate in. She nailed it! A great song creates an emotional connection between the musicians and the audience. This is one of those songs. It was the final song of a 3 1/2 concert and the emotions of the band and the audience were running high. Quite a few goosebumps were raised and tears shed during the song. If you watch the official live video, get some Kleenex.

Hi Jen, been awhile since I saw a reaction from you! You still are awesome!! I remember seeing Band-Maid at the Echoplex in LA and I had a conversation with another bloke and I said Endless Story was my least liked song because of its pop origin! When they played it live it was incredible!!! The audience participation was electrifying!! Today, it is a favorite of mine! Kanami’s guitar work and the way she scratches her rhythm work is awesome! Love the tune!

They do an accoustic show 25 december ad (24 december USA time ) on Zaiko Japan tickets 1 week 20 USD or three months 35 USD to see the show. You got 2 tickets for that price. One for the show and one with comments of the girls translated.

"One of the best Japanese female metal bands out there today." Sorry Jen.... I disagree. I see them as "One of the best Hard Rock bands out there today." Music genre aside, their Nationality or gender should not equate to how good they are. My scientific workplace analysis (LOL) has proved this - I have a mixed Rock/Metal playlist I play at work(2000+ songs - about 80 B-M songs on that list) Every time B-M plays, my work colleges are either bopping or humming to their music. They don't even know who they are listening to.....but they dig it. As for seeing them live..... I live In the North of Sweden. Whenever they role by Europe again... I will see one of their shows. Don't care if it is Germany, France, England or Poland... I'll be there for at least on of their gigs. Cool reaction as always.....

i just saw this. im like a band-maid magnet. where every they go i follow. jen. when you start talking about saikis legs and creamy white skin. i was like awesome. i usually have to pay 1.99 a minute to get a chick talking like that by phone :P the gurls are always cute and baddass. i never have considered them as metal. miku has always said. there classic rock and i totally agree with that. i flip out when somebody calls them punk. why am i talking like im on a talk show :) merry christmas jen.
