BAND-MAID Live @ The Paradise Rock Club, Boston 10/29/22

This is video I shot of BAND-MAID's concert in Boston. It's not the complete show. For the complete, you really should go see them in concert. They are a phenomenal band live. They're a phenomenal band. I don't typically share my videos on KZbin, but I want lovers of rock music to discover this band if they haven't already. The singing is in Japanese, but that doesn't mean you need to know Japanese to feel and love their music. If you love rock music, you can easily fall in love with their music. As far as their performances are concerned, they put their hearts into them. They clearly love and enjoy their fans. Their fans clearly love and enjoy BAND-MAID. They aren't quite a secret in the music world, but they truly deserve to be better known. I highly recommend you check out their website, their KZbin page and give them a listen if you haven't already. Do check them out in concert if you are blessed with the opportunity to do so. You will not regret it.

They surely do. The Paradise Rock Club is especially too small for them. The plus to such a small venue is the intimacy that is possible between the band and the fans. Bigger venues don't allow for much of that. So I'm grateful I got to experience their musical magic is a smaller venue.

I believe he is one of a group of fans who followed BAND-MAID during their tour. I've seen him in other videos of the tour. BAND-MAID has some truly die hard fans. Understandably so. BAND-MAID is awesome!

The show was awesome! The audience was incredible! I didn't think an American audience would be as emotional and as charged up as the audiences have been in Japan. I was wrong. This audience, I must admit, had me feeling moved. I can only imagine how the band felt about this audience. So much raw power and energy present that night.

I didn't want to just focus on certain members. Each one of them is special and important. I also felt it was important to capture the audience. The band and the audience together are the heart of the show.

Thank you! The audience is so essential. The raw emotion and energy that come from an audience are important elements of any concert experience, especially for the bands. It's so reassuring to have such powerful and positive reactions from an audience. The audience at BAND-MAID's Paradise showed so much love for the band. It was so beautiful and exciting to see and feel the joy of this audience. I'm certain it was for the band too.

Fun Fact: The person Saiki was pointing to at 38:58 was me up on the 2nd floor, and I absolutely lost my shit. When she saw my loosing my shit she had the biggest smug face ever. Awesome concert. If anyone can find the recording of Unleash!! @ Boston, you can also hear my dumbass screaming very loudly at the start of the song.

That's awesome! I wish I had that one to share with you. My camera was acting weird while filming. It randomly stopped recording while zooming in and out. I tried to film Unleash!!!!!, but my camera wasn't having it. I do have audio of the entire show. I used my phone for that one. It came out alright for a phone recording. Would be cool to have official video and audio of this show. I would definitely buy them. BAND-MAID is has become a favorite of mine. They're a badass Rock 'n'' Roll band.

Hey Tom! I know I of course have said it is whatever that Band Maid did not make their way down to FL, and I am cool with not seeing the maids live this year and just assuming that they will be back next year and I’ll catch them then. But shit man of course coming on here and seeing these videos every other day is making me very jealous! They would sound phenomenal! They're one of the best sounding live bands I've heard in a long time. By the way, I filmed this with a compact Panasonic camera. Still a super tiny mic recorded the sound. Even though a tiny mic, BAND-MAID comes off sounding awesome! 🎤🔊😊

I was on the balcony to the right near the corner and had a pretty good view of the show (not as good as yours, nice location). I was amazed at the energy of the group of fans in front thru the entire show and the overall band interaction with the crowd as that is what makes live special. Thanks for uploading. Peace

Boston was my 5th serving and my 1st time on the rail (center right) directly in front of Saiki. I'm wearing the white heart sunglasses (from Kate) next to the huge Dude in the white hoodie. I don't know if it was the best show but it's my personal favorite and the 1 that's burned into my Soul. We were definitely lucky bastards. The Paradise is a legendary venue in Boston. It's a great venue. I do hope, as much as I like the intimacy of The Paradise, that BAND-MAID will perform in a nicer venue if they come to Boston again. The MGM at Fenway is a larger venue, but still intimate. It would be perfect for BAND-MAID.

Thank you for your comments. The connection between BAND-MAID and their fans is so strong. I feel that with the Japanese fans when I watch the concerts filmed in Japan. There is something truly special about the bond they have with their fans. I haven't seen such a bond between other bands and their fans. When I view this video, I feel so moved by the fans. I was feeling it very deeply during the concert. I hope to experience that again.

I'm fairly new to the group, so I'm still learning about them. I didn't realize how die hard fans are about them. A large group of fans followed then throughout their tour. That is love and devotion! I hope to see them again. I hope you will get to see them next time. Perhaps they will perform at the House of Blues or MGM Music Hall at Fenway the next time around. They deserve a bigger venue. I felt it was perfect for video because of the view I had of the audience and of the stage. I was inspired by both the band and the audience. Both were awesome! If you use the Xtreme Download Manager plug in for Chrome or Mozilla (on PC & Linux), you can download the video. You'll need to install the app too. It works very well. You're lucky to have been in the front. I was one of the general admission folks, so I didn't have the best options. I was lucky to score the spot I got. It was a nice view of the band and the fans on the floor.

@@happyjack71 An acoustic live version of "Catharsis" was on their official channel. That was for a limited time, so we don't have it now. But there are a lot of reaction videos, so it would be nice to watch them. By the way, this was a live show held online as a Christmas present for fans. The full version was illegally uploaded recently, but I don't know when it will be deleted.

It was a great view of the stage and the audience. I was originally by the stage on the floor. I saw an opportunity when they opened the balcony up. I wasn't up close and personal with the band, but I'm grateful I could take in the whole experience from where I was. BAND-MAID's audience is half of the experience. They're just as important, especially for the band.
